Bheki is the Plant Manager for DDW’s facility in Africa. He joined DDW in 2002, after a friend recommended he apply for the position. “I sent in my CV,” he says, “and the rest, as they say, is history.”

Community Involvement: As a member of Matsapha Rotary Club, Bheki volunteered in various community projects in Africa. The projects were specifically targeted at primary school children.

As part of the DDW community service initiative, Bheki was also involved with the “Save the Children” project, which supported the Mncina children, a family of orphans. As part of this initiative, DDW provided care, supplies, clothing and even construction of a house for the four orphaned children: Sithembiso, Thembi, Bhekie and Thulani. Random Fact: Two of Bheki’s favorite hobbies include tennis and table tennis.
