Glen came on board with DDW back in August of 2009 and currently works as an Applications Scientist in our Louisville, KY Science and Innovation laboratory. He received his B.S. in Food Science from Purdue University and his Ph.D. in Food Science from University of Florida. His specialties include beverages (beverage alcohol, sports beverages, vitamin waters, carbonated beverages, syrups and more) and confectionary (panning, boiled candies, icings, gummies, tableting, compound coating and more).

Community Involvement: Glen has volunteered his time to help with several local community service initiatives. Along with his fellow DDW associates, he’s helped feed those in need with Louisville Metro United Way’s Dare to Care Mobile Pantries. He’s also a volunteer youth counselor.

For Fun: When he’s not at work, Glen enjoys outdoor activities ranging from hiking to fishing and hunting.

Random Fact: One of Glen’s favorite hobbies is woodworking.
