Our very first “outside expert” featured in DDW’s new Expert Answers Video Series, Kantha Shelke is a diversified scientist, expediting new product and technology in food and nutrition. She is Founder and Principal of Corvus Blue, a consumer packaged goods consultant, and is also a spokesperson for the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
Community Involvement: Ms. Shelke also Chairs the Scientific Advisory Board of a global food brand company, advises as Director of the Illinois Global Partnerships (a private/government partnership), is Ingredients Editor for Food Processing, Wellness Foods and Natural Products Industry (the largest trade publications in respective sectors).
Random Fact: Kantha’s previous experience includes senior positions at ACNielsen, Ben & Jerry’s, Continental Baking Corporation, and Grand Metropolitan Food Sector (known best for Pillsbury and Häagen-Dazs).
